Over the weekend, President Trump was riffing in front of a microphone and said that he’d be looking into legislation to eliminate the capital gains tax on residential real estate.

Some people are worried that debt and deficits and money printing are going to cause inflation to skyrocket. Other people are worried that AI and technology are going to cause us to go deep into deflation.

I am not an economist. That’s probably for the best because economists aren’t any better at predicting shifts in the economy than I am.
