How He Got Here
If you’re looking for a classic Wall Street bio, you’re not going to find it here. Adam Crawford grew up in Missouri, studied business at Missouri State University, and built his career much like he approaches investing: by putting in the long hours, doing the hard grunt work, and earning a reputation as an incredibly safe pair of hands.
He began analyzing technology companies at a boutique research firm, where he developed an eye for identifying businesses with durable competitive advantages before they became household names. That experience led him to Mauldin Economics, where he first worked alongside Jared.
When Jared launched Jared Dillian Money, Adam joined him. Today, he leads the Heartland Investor service, which focuses on overlooked stocks with strong balance sheets. Adam is also key to Street Freak and The Strategic Portfolio, where he analyzes companies and develops investment ideas.
