Make Options Sane again
Everyone and their grandmother are trading options, and most people are losing, and that is the reality of the options market today. The number of options being traded has been breaking records literally every year since 2020.
There are all kinds of reasons for this, not least Robinhood, zero-commission trading, all that. A lot of options trading is people trying to make 50x or 100x returns - not too different from having a spin on the roulette wheel. There's also a cottage industry that’s sprung up around the whole thing. The "Get mega rich with options!" ads. You've seen 'em, but you're too smart for them if you're reading this.
That is not what the Options Masterclass is about.
Here's something that's pretty boring – the best use for options is managing risk. Other good uses for options: smoothing out the volatility in your portfolio, and sometimes giving you a bit of extra leverage to yes, get some outsized gains.
